Shannon Hughen was recently named assistant director of development for the Harvey and Bernice Jones Eye Institute at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS).

Hughen is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where she earned bachelor's degrees in advertising and marketing. While at UALR, she was president of the campus chapter of the American Advertising Federation.
