Martha Pickett, director of the nuclear medicine imaging sciences program at UAMS, recently received a President's Award from the Society of Nuclear Medicine - Technologist Section for her work developing an educational program for advanced technologists.

Pickett, who received the award during the organization's annual meeting, is also the director of the Division of Nuclear Medicine Imagine Sciences in the Department of Imaging and Radiation Sciences of the UAMS College of Health Related Professions.

Pickett joined the UAMS faculty in 1982 as an adjunct professor in radiologic technology.
